Faith Formation at Atonement

The Episcopal Church says that “Christian formation is the lifelong process of growing in our relationship with God, self, others, and all creation. Every experience in our lives can provide us with the opportunity to express our faith; the challenge we face is recognizing these opportunities and learning ways to live a sometimes counter-cultural life in a secular world.” Some refer to it as Baptismal Living—the calling that each of us has to continue to grow in our knowledge and love of the Lord so that we can continue to live the promises that we have made at the time of our Baptism.

 

Here at Atonement, we take seriously our responsibility for life-long Christian Formation. Our forums and classes are meant to challenge and inspire us, to bring us closer to God, and to bring us deep joy.

 

All of God's children, of all ages, are invited to participate in formation activities as a part of this community.
